NEW YEAR COUNTDOWN TWICE? SEVEN CITIES? ONE TICKET!!
Seeing the New Year countdown twice, and using one ticket to visit seven cities afterwards. Seem impossible? Not so. Planning it correctly means two things:
-You get to see in the New Year in truly memorable fashion -You can add up to six stopovers to your trip, making your vacation even more enjoyable.
How to do it Australia is among the first countries to see in each new day, while Hawaii doesn’t get the chance until over 20 hours later. In order to see the New Year in twice, you’ll have to cross the International Date Line. Travel 10 hours from Sydney to Hawaii and you’ll do just that – and make it in time to hula in the New Year.
Seven cities, one ticket To top off your unique New Year’s celebration, you can see seven cities using the one ticket – and save yourself a LOT of money in the process. If you book a single business class ticket with unlimited stopovers to your final destination, many airlines will allow you to make the most of as many planned stopovers as you wish. Often the only requirement is that you travel less than 20% further than you would have gone if you’d gone straight to your final destination. In effect, this could mean that you travel from point A to point B, with 6 short stopovers in between, allowing you to get even more out of your vacation.
Cramming a few extra destinations into your itinerary and seeing even more of the world, need not cost you the earth. If you make sure to ask for unlimited stopovers, you too can visit up to six extra destinations for no more than it would have cost to travel straight through. So get packing!!
